 the less porous, the less permeable

Explanation:

Porosity means voids or empty spaces present between the rock or soil particles. Thus, water can retain in these spaces.

Whereas permeability means the capacity of fluid to flow easily. When there are more number of spaces then there is more possibility that fluid or water can easily pass through there.

Thus, we can conclude that porosity relate to permeability as follows.

  • the more porous, the more permeable.
  • the less porous, the less permeable.

There is a known potential difference between two charged plates of 12000 Volts. An object with a charge of 6.5 x 10-6 C charge
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer:

1.97 m/s.

Explanation:

From the question,

Using the law of conservation of energy,

The energy stored in the charged plate = Kinetic energy of the mass

1/2(qV) = 1/2mv².......................... Equation 1

Where q = charge, V = voltage, m = mass, v = velocity.

make v the subject of the equation

v = √(qV/m)......................... Equation 2

Given: q = 6.5×10⁻⁶ C, V = 12000 Volts, m = 0.02 kg

Substitute these values into equation 2

v = √(6.5×10⁻⁶×12000 /0.02)

v = √3.9

v = 1.97 m/s.

THE RIGHT ANSWER WILL RECEIVE A BRAINLESS AND POINTS AND THANKS!!!
poizon [28]

Answer:

391.67Hz

Explanation:

The fundamental frequency formula in string is expressed as;

Fo = V/2L

V is the velocity of the wave = 329m/s

L is the length of the string = 42cm = 0.42m

Substitute

Fo = 329/2(0.42)

Fo = 329/0.84

Fo = 391.67Hertz

Hence the  fundamental frequency of a mandolin string is 391.67Hz
