This will be very similar to the last problem we did! =)

<em>* original equation
</em><em>12 + 3(8 + x)
</em>
<em>* okay, we can't do anything in the parenthesis necessarily... but we can multiply the values by 3! (note, when you multiply things in the parenthesis, you must multiply EACH and EVERY number!)
</em><em>12 + 24 + 3x
</em>
<em>* now all we gotta do is add some fools, and we're simplified!
</em>
<em>the final simplified awesome super nova cool amazing form is... 3x + 36! =)</em>

PLEASE HELP! I WILL MARK AS BRAINLIEST!! I REALLY NEED SOMEONES HELP!
Andrej [43]

Since this is subtraction, everything must be turned negative in the second polynomial.

(6x^2 - 5x) - (2x^2 + 3x - 2)

6x^2 - 5x - 2x^2 - 3x - (-2)

6x^2 - 5x - 2x^2 - 3x + 2

Now, reorder the terms to make it easier.

6x^2 - 2x^2 - 5x - 3x + 2

Now, just combine like terms.

4x^2 - 5x - 3x + 2

4x^2 - 8x + 2

There’s the answer!

Please consider marking this answer as Brainliest to help me advance.

What are the coordinates of the vertex of the graph of the absolute value function h(x) = 3|x + 5| + 2? A) (5,-2) B) (-5,2) C) (
saw5 [17]

Answer:

B) Vertex = (-5, 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Vertex can be defined as defined as the point where two lines meet and form a particular angle with each other. It can also be described as the point where a line changes its direction

We can find vertex by two methods:

<h3>1) GRAPH</h3>

We can see in the graph attached below that the line changes its direction at point (-5, 2). So the vertex is (-5,2)

<h3>2) FORMULA</h3>

General form of equation of mod function is given by

y = a |x - h| + k

where Vertex = (h, k)

The given equation is

h(x) = 3 |x + 5| + 2

h(x) = 3 |x - (-5)| + 2

where h = -5 and k = 2

So the vertex is:

Vertex = (-5, 2)
