Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

- 8 < 2 ← a True statement, then multiplying both sides by 2 gives

- 16 < 4 ← still a True statement, however, multiplying both sides by - 2 gives

16 < - 4 ← a False statement

However, if we reverse the inequality sign then

16 > - 4 ← is now a True statement

In conclusion

When multiplying or dividing by a positive quantity the sign remains the same.

When multiplying or dividing by a negative quantity the sign must be reversed.

Please name all of the property of multiplication for 4*(-3)*5
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

You can multiply -3 by 4 and then multiply the result of that by 5, or you could write -3, 4 and 5 in other orders (6 possible orders) and obtain the same result.

I would multiply (-3) by 4, obtaining -12, and then multiply this -12 by 5, obtaining -60.  But I could also multiply 5 by 4, obtaining 20, and then multiply this 20 by -3, obtaining the same -60.

What I have described here are the commutative and associative properties of multiplication.

algol [13]

If you are asking for the slope it is a zero slope because...

2-2 equals 0 and you don't need to solve the bottom because the top is a zero

but a horizontal slope is when the zero is on the bottom.

btw- I guarantee I am right because i am a Indian. My wisdom comes from God. Jesus Christ!!!!:):):)
