Answer:

12.2%

Explanation:

Given:

Mass of BaO = 25.8 g

Mass of solution = 212 g

Explanation:

Here the solution is made of BaO solute dissolved in water solvent.

Percent mass is essentially the ratio of the mass of the solute by the mass of the solution times 100

% Mass = \frac{Mass\ solute}{Mass\solution} *100

% BaO = \frac{25.8}{212} *100= 12.2%

Mass of solute = 25.8 g

mass solution = 212 g

% =(  mass of solute / mass solution ) x 100

% = ( 25.8 / 212 ) x 100

% = 0.122 x 100

= 12.2 %

History of Aluminum
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Aluminium was named after alum, which is called 'alumen' in Latin. This name was given by Humphry Davy, an English chemist, who, in 1808, discovered that aluminium could be produced by electrolytic reduction from alumina (aluminium oxide), but did not manage to prove the theory in practice.

How many uL are present in 250 mL of H20? (1 uL = 10^-6 Liters)
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

250000 μL

Explanation:

If         1 L = 1000 mL

Then  X L = 250 mL

X = (1 × 250) / 1000 = 0.25 L

Now we can calculate the number of microliters (μL) in 0.25 L:

if        1 μL = 10⁻⁶ L

then   X μL = 0.25 L

X = (1 × 0.25) / 10⁻⁶  =250000 μL
