A 6-column table with 1 row. The first column labeled Number of Washers has entry 2. The second column labeled initial velocity

v subscript 1 (meters per second) has entry 0.13. The third column labeled final velocity v subscript 2 (meters per second) has entry 0.36. The fourth column labeled Time to travel 0.25 meters t subscript 1 (seconds) has entry 1.92. The fifth column labeled time to travel 0.5 meters t subscript 2 (seconds) has entry 2.61. The sixth column labeled Acceleration a = StartFraction (v subscript 2 minus v subscript 1) over (t subscript 2 minus t subscript 1) EndFraction (meters per second squared) has entry empty.
The acceleration of the car with the data in the table above would be
m/s2.

If the applied force were cut in half, what do you predict the acceleration would be?

Answer:

The acceleration of the car with the data in the table above would be

0.33  m/s^2

If the applied force were cut in half, what do you predict the acceleration would be?

0.17  m/s^2

Explanation:

i did the test, but if u do not believe me,

0.36-0.13= 0.23

2.61-1.92=0.69

then 0.23/0.69= 0.3333333333333333333333333333333, which rounds to 0.33, according to the formula, a=(v2-v1)/(t2-t1)m/s^2, so you need to divide.

to find the second part, if you divide 0.33/2=0.175, which rounds to 0.17(its the answer its correct)

Answer:

The correct reaction force in response to Heidi's action force is:

c. The friction is equal to 660 N since the beam is not accelerating.

Explanation:

Heidi's action force does not affect the beam.  Since friction resists the sliding or rolling of one solid object over another, there is no friction acting on the beam, in this respect.  The reaction force is what makes the dog to move because it acts on it.  According to Newton's Third Law of Motion, forces always come in action-reaction pairs.  This Third Law states that for every action force, there is an equal and opposite reaction force.  This means that the dog exerts some force on Heidi, as he pulls it "forward with a force of 9.55 N."

sineoko [7]

The true statement about the wave is that, the wave has traveled 97. 2 cm in 1 second.

In Physics, we define a wave as a disturbance along a medium that transfers energy. The wavelength of a wave is the distance covered by the wave while the frequency of the wave is the number of cycles of the wave completed per second.

The period of the wave is the inverse of the frequency of the wave. It is defined as the time taken for the wave to complete a cycle and it is measured in seconds.

The wave formula is given as;

v = λf

v = velocity of the wave (distance traveled by the wave in one second)

λ = wavelength of the wave

f = frequency of the wave

So;

λ = 32.4 cm

f =  3 hertz

v = 32.4 cm × 3 hertz

v = 97. 2 cms-1

Hence, the true statement about the wave is that, the wave has traveled 97. 2 cm in 1 second.
