Pluto takes 90,553 earth days to revolve around the sun. Neptune takes 60,190 days. The planet that has the shortest amount time to revolve is Mercury which would only have 59 days.

The factor to be considered is the distance between the planet and the sun. It would take longer for a planet to have an orbit if it's too far, and shorter if it's nearer.

Answer:

Pluto technically takes the longest to complete an orbit, however since it is not considered a planet anymore, Neptune would be the answer for the longest orbit. Mercury has the shortest orbit.

Explanation:

The closer a planet is to the Sun, the less time it will take to complete an orbit. Vice versa

coldgirl [10]
The radar device determines the vehicle's instantaneous speed.

I would argue that the purpose of the device is not to determine
whether individuals are driving safely.  They only determine whether
individuals are driving within legal speed limits.  There's much more
to 'safe' driving than that, but the radar gun can't detect it.

A 90-kg astronaut is stranded in space at a point 6.0 m from his spaceship, and he needs to get back in 4.0 min to control the s
Stella [2.4K]

Momentum = 0.5 * 4 = 2
to conclude the man’s velocity after he throws the piece of equipment, divide this number by the man’s mass.

v = 2/90

This is about 0.0222 m/s. To know if he can move 6 meters at velocity in 4minutes, use the following equation.

d = v * t, t = 4 * 60 = 240 s
d = 2/90 * 240 = 5⅓ meters.

This is ⅔ of a meter from the spaceship. To know the velocity that he must have to move 6 meter, use the same equation.

6 = v * 240
v = 6/240
This is about 0.00416 m/s.
His final momentum = 90 * 6/240 = 2.25

To know the velocity of the package, divide this number by the mass of the package.
v = 2.25/0.5 = 4.5 m/s

Two electrically opposite charges are separated by a fixed distance. Which action will provide the greatest increase in the forc
Alex73 [517]

Explanation:

The electric force between charges is given by the formula as follows :

F=\dfrac{kq_1q_2}{r^2}

k is electrostatic constant

r is distance between charges

Here, charges are equal and opposite. So,

F=\dfrac{kq^2}{r^2}

It is clear the force is inversely proportional to the distance between charges and directly proportional to the product of charges. So, greatest force will be providing by :

  • Increasing the magnitude of charges
  • Decreasing the distance between charges.
