So for each group just multiply the number of socks in each group to 5 and = s
so
1. s = 4x5
s = 20
2. s = 15 x 5
= 75
the other 2 is duplicated (?) :/

Answer: There are 20 socks in the first case and there are 75 socks in the second case.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of equal groups = 5

Let the total number of socks be 's'.

According to question, expression will be

\text{Number of socks in each group }=\frac{s}{5}

Now, Suppose number of socks in each group = 4

So, it will become,

4=\frac{s}{5}\\\\4\times 5=s\\\\20=s

Suppose number of socks in each group = 15

So, Total number of socks become

15=\frac{s}{5}\\\\15\times 5=s\\\\75=s

Hence, there are 20 socks in the first case and there are 75 socks in the second case.

Draw a rectangle that has an area of 8 units square and a perimeter of 12 units. What are the side lengths
choli [55]

Answer:

4 by 2

Step-by-step explanation:

you can basically guess and check with this question but I knew if it was a rectangle then 2 sides would be larger than the other. So I started off figuring out what times what equals 8 and I got 2 and 4. So I put those in for the side lengths and I got 12.
