Answer:

The crime would be C. Involuntary manslaughter.

Explanation:

Manslaughter is different from murder because it <em>does not</em><em> have the intent to kill. </em>Generally, vehicular accidents fall into this category because mostly the drivers are reckless and this results in a fatality. However, they do not have the intent to kill.

Involuntary manslaughter means the kill was unintentional and was the <em>product of recklessness</em> which can be clearly understood in this example.

In the example we can see that the motorist runs the stop sign, which is a reckless action, and kills the pedestrian, the result of the reckless action.

The other options (A, B and D) are not the correct choice because the motorist's intent was not to kill so it was not first degree murder nor was the intent to do serious bodily injury.

The Tenth Amendment was added to the Bill of Rights because the framers believed in the principle of: giving all power to a cent
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

<h3>Establishing federalism.</h3>

Explanation:

  • The founding fathers of the US Constitution strongly feared and had a distrust in a strong central government. The framers of the Constitution added the Tenth Amendment to the Bill of Rights to emphasize the limited power of the central government.
  • They firmly believed in establishing federalism as they wanted the power and liberty to be directly in hands of the states and the people. Thus, the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution states that <u>"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."</u>
