Answer:

113.

Step-by-step explanation:

119 is divisible by 7.

117 is divisible by 3.

I think it's 113.

If you use your calculator to divide 113 by odd numbers up to 57  you can check if it is prime. You stop at 57 because 57*2 = 114. You need not divide by any number ending in 5 because 113 ends in 3.

I have done this and can't find a quotient that is a whole number so it must be prime (unless I've made a mistake!).

I believe the answer is B.

Explanation: In the problem, it states that “Karen says MOST middle school students’ favorite band is Rhonda and the Gees.” Pay attention to the keyword, most. Only 65 students like Rhonda and the Gees, so it is too small to represent a middle school of 1,156. So, therefore, the answer should be B.

The price of jeans was reduced $6 per week for 7 weeks. By how much did the price of the jeans change over the 7 weeks?
Sedbober [7]
The price dropped by forty two dollars. We can work this out by simply multiplying six, the number that we know the jeans were reduced by each week, by seven, the number of weeks that the jeans continued to reduce in price for. Six times seven is of course forty two.

A student answers
Marina CMI [18]
So, we have the percentage she gets which is, 90% and the number of questions she answers correctly, which is 27

To find the number of questions in the exam, make an equation
(90% = \frac{90}{100} = 0.9)
\frac{90}{100} = \frac{27}{x}
cross multiply and equate them
90x = 27 x 100
90x = 2700
divide by 90 on either sides to isolate x in order to find the answer
\frac{90x}{90} =  \frac{2700}{90}
90 and 90 cancels out
x = 30
So your final answer will be, there were 30 questions in the exam paper.

An object has a Mass of 5 kg what force is needed to accelerate it at 6/ms2
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

It can be solved by applying formula for Force.

Force = mass * acceleration

Unit of force is N(newton)

one newton is the force applied on body when a body of mass one kg, accelerate at 1/ms^2 under the influence of force.

________________________

given

Mass = 5 kg

acceleration = 6/ms2

plug in the value of mass and acceleration in formula for for we have

force = mass * acceleration\\=>force = 5 * 6\\=>force = 30

Thus 30 N(newton) force is required to accelerate at 6m/s^2
