Hello!

The slope intercept form of a line is

y = mx + b

m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

b is -5 so the y-intercept is -5

The answer is -5

Hope this helps!

Answer: 5

Step-by-step explanation:  y=4x-5

                                              y=mx+or-b

                                     m=slope and b=y intercept

so the y intercept/b is 5 because it wouldn't be -5 because if it was -5 the equation would look like y=4x+5 because if the y intercept was -5 and the equation is subtracting it wuld be adding because when you have 2 - signs it turn into + sign so your answer is 5

and it wouldnt be 4 or -4 because the y intercept is b in the slope form (y=mx+or-b) and b=5 so you can automatically cross them out!

hope this helps

A circle has a diameter of 29 feet. What is the area? *
11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

The answer is

<h2>660.5 square feet</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a circle = πr²

where r is the radius

From the question

diameter = 29 feet

To find the radius given the diameter we use the formula

radius =  \frac{diameter}{2}  \\ radius  =  \frac{29}{2}  \\  = 14.5 \:  \: feet

So the area of the circle is

A =  {14.5}^{2} \pi \\  = 210.25\pi \\  = 660.519...

We have the final answer as

<h3>660.5 square feet</h3>

Hope this helps you
