I'm assuming you meant 5:4 and 27 students.
5 parts girls to every 4 parts boys. To work this out you first need to find one part;
5+4=9
27÷9=3
1 part = 3 people
5 parts are girls, so;
3x5 = 15
there are 15 girls

Find the area of a rhombus with side length 6 and an interior angle with measure $120^\circ$.
Serhud [2]

Answer:

The area of a rhombus is 18\sqrt{3} square units.

Step-by-step explanation:

Side length of rhombus = 6 units.

Interior angle of rhombus = 120°

another Interior angle of rhombus = 180°-120° = 60°.

Draw an altitude.

In a right angled triangle

\sin \theta=\frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}

\sin (60)=\frac{h}{6}

\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}=\frac{h}{6}

Multiply both sides by 6.

3\sqrt{3}=h

The height of the rhombus is 3\sqrt{3}.

Area of a rhombus is

Area=base\times height

Area=6\times 3\sqrt{3}

Area=18\sqrt{3}

Therefore, the area of a rhombus is 18\sqrt{3} square units.

Angeline bought s yards of satin fabric priced at $8. 09 per yard, and c yards of cotton fabric priced at $3. 79 per yard. Use a
kow [346]

Let represents the total cost. We know for our problem that each yard of satin fabric costs $8.09, so yards will cost . similarly, each yard of cotton fabric costs $3.79, so yards will cost . We can also infer that the total cost, , will be the sum of the yards of satin fabric and the yards of cotton fabric, so:

Now, to determine the amount that Angeline would spend in all if she bought 5 yards of satin fabric and 8 yards of cotton fabric, we just need to replace and in our expression:

We can conclude that if Angeline would spend in all if she bought 5 yards of satin fabric and 8 yards of cotton fabric, she would spend $70.77

You (or your parents) purchase a new car for $19.725.00 plus 4.75% sales tax. The down payment is $2.17500 and you for your pare
dlinn [17]

Answer:

  $90.12

Step-by-step explanation:

The principal amount of the loan is ...

  (sale price)(1 + sales tax rate) - (down payment)

  = $19,725×1.0475 -2175 = $18,486.94

For a secured loan, the APR charged for an average credit rating appears to be 5.85%, so the interest for the first month is ...

  i = Prt = ($18,486.94)(0.0585)(1/12)

  i = $90.12
