Seems to be a geometric sequence which is found by
a_{n}=a_{1}(r)^{n-1}

an=nth term
a1=first term
r=common ratio

first term is 0.75
it doubles each time so common ratio is 2

a_{n}=0.75(2)^{n-1}
to find the nth term, input n and evaluate
example
to find the 20th term
a_{50}=0.75(2)^{20-1}
a_{50}=0.75(2)^{19}
a_{50}=0.75(1048576)
a_{50}=786432

just to find the kth term, input k for n in
a_{n}=a_{1}(r)^{n-1}

Find the midpoint of a line segment with given endpoints (4,-5) and (-6,3)
Mashcka [7]
The equation for the midpoint of a line segment is ( \frac{x_1 + x_2}{2}, \frac{y_1 + y_2}{2}). Thus, the midpoint of this segment is (\frac{4 + (-6)}{2}, \frac{-5 + 3}{2}) = \boxed{(-1, -1)}.

What is the constant of propotionality in the equation 3y=2x?
liq [111]

Answer:

<em>k=2/3</em>

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a proportional variation if it can be expressed in the form  <em>y/x = k or y = kx</em>

In this problem we have <em>3y = 2x</em>

Isolate the variable y

Divide by 3 both sides

<em>y = 2/3x</em>

Remember that

In a proportional relationship the constant of proportionality k is equal to the slope m of the line

The slope of the line m is

<em>m = 2/3</em>

therefore

The constant of proportionality k is

<em>k = 2/3</em>
