From the periodic table:
molecular mass of hydrogen = 1 gram
molecular mass of chlorine = 35.5 grams

Therefore,
mass of one mole of HCl (molar mass) = 1 + 35.5 = 36.5 grams

To get mass of two moles, we will simply multiply the molar mass by 2 as follows:
mass of 2 moles of HCl = 2 x 36.5 = 73 grams

Answer: (C) 73 grams

4. Snow removal, as its snows a lot in Pennsylvania.
5. For number 5 please tell me which services the company offers & keep in mind the weather patterns are pretty hot & sunny in Florida, especially during the summers. If the company provides services (such as snow removal) Florida would hardly need any, causing the company to make less profit.
Good luck & please be sure to try your best. You got this!

How many grams of CaF2 would be needed to produce 1.23 moles of F2?
NemiM [27]

We see from the chemical formula itself that there is 1 mole of F2 for every 1 mole of CaF2, hence the number of moles of CaF2 is also:

moles CaF2 = 1.23 moles

The molar mass of CaF2 is 78.07 g/mol, so the mass is:

mass CaF2 = 78.07 g / mol * 1.23 mol

mass CaF2 = 96.03 grams

Some atoms become unstable because (2 points)
emmainna [20.7K]
Atoms become unstable when the neutrons and protons are off-balance. Neutrons serve as a type of atomic “glue” that holds the nucleus together. Throw that ratio off balance, and the whole atom goes kaput.
