Friction is the force you get when you (for example) Rub something with another, it's a force that may generate heat and even some resistance. Another example is rubbing your hands together, they get hot, therefore friction is working, without friction you wouldn't be able to stop moving.

Friction is the resistance of mass when on another object.
If we avoid friction, we move faster.
But, in some cases, friction is also good. It is used in car brakes, when something rubs on the wheels to make the wheels stop rolling, or rotating.
Ice skates may be another thing. They provide a little friction on the blades, to be able to stop and to be able to move.

What are common features of both the MMPI-2 and CPI? Select all that apply.
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer:     D

Both MMPI-2 and CPI check for serious personality disorders.

MMPI - 2

MMPI - 2 stands for Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory -2. It is the most widely used psychometric test to measure adult psychopathology. MMPI-2 differentiates people with hypochondriasis from normal one. MMPI-2 is able to detect unconsciously somatizing or consciously malingering in patients.

CPI

CPI stands for california psychological inventory. It is a self report inventory created by Harrision G. This test used to test the people, which are 13 years and older. It takes 40 minutes to complete the test. CPI works on "folk-concepts" which means an ordinary people can use it to describe other people around him.

A scuba diver and her gear displace a volume of 67.0 l and have a total mass of 64.0 kg. (a) what is the buoyant force on the di
slavikrds [6]
Buoyant force is the force that is a result from the pressure exerted by a fluid on the object. We calculate this value by using the Archimedes principle where it says that the upward buoyant force that is being exerted to a body that is immersed in the fluid is equal to the fluid's weight that the object has displaced. Buoyant force always acts opposing the direction of weight. We calculate as follows:

Fb = W
Fb = mass (acceleration due to gravity)
Fb = 64.0 kg ( 9.81 m/s^2)
Fb = 627.84 kg m/s^2

Therefore, the buoyant force that is exerted on the diver in the sea water would be 627.84 N

What are the two types of electrical circuits
uysha [10]

Series Circuit
A series circuit there is only one path for the electrons to flow (see image of series circuit). The main disadvantage of a series circuit is that if there is a break in the circuit the entire circuit is open and no current will flow. An example of a series would the the lights on many inexpensive Christmas trees. If one light goes out all of them will.

Parallel Circuit
In a parallel circuit the different parts of the electric circuit are on several different branches. There are several different paths that electrons can flow. If there is a break in one branch of the circuit electrons can still flow in other branches (see image of parallel circuit). Your home is wired in a parallel circuit so if one light bulb goes out the other will stay on.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU MATE!!
