Three crates with various contents are pulled by a force F pull = 3615 N across a horizontal, frictionless roller‑conveyor syste

m. The group of boxes accelerates at 1.516 m / s 2 to the right. Between each adjacent pair of boxes is a force meter that measures the magnitude of the tension in the connecting rope. Between the box of mass m 1 and the box of mass m 2 , the force meter reads F 12 = 1387 N . Between the box of mass m 2 and the box of mass m 3 , the force meter reads F 23 = 2304 N . Assume that the ropes and force meters are massless.

Answer:

m1=914.9kg

m2=604.9kg

m3=864.75kg

Explanation

I think we are suppose to find the mass of the crate.

The effective force that moves the body in positive x direction is 3615N

ΣFx = Σma

Then Fx=3615N

Then the masses be m1, m2 and m3

Then,

ΣF = Σ(ma)

3615=(m1+m2+m3)a

Given that a=1.516

The masses are

m1+m2+m3=, 2384.56. Equation 1

Between mass 1 and mass 2 is, F12=1387.

The effective force that pull mass 1 is 1387.

F12=m1 ×a

Therefore,

m1=F12/a

m1=1387/1.516

m1=914.9kg.

The effective force that pulls crate 1 and crate 2 is F23

F23=(m1+m2)a

Therefore

2304=(m1+m2)a

Therefore, since a=1.516

m1+m2=2304/1.516

m1+m2=1519.8kg

Since m1=914.9kg

So, m2=1519.8-m1

m2=1519.8-914.9

m2=604.9kg

Also from equation 1

m1+m2+m3=2384.56

Since m1=914.9kg and m2=604.9kg

Then, m3=2384.56-604.9-914.9

m3=864.75kg

What is the equilibrium constant of pure water at 25C
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

1.0 x 10-14.

Explanation:

We then replace the term on the right side of this equation with a constant known as the water dissociation equilibrium constant, Kw. In pure water, at 25C, the [H3O+] and [OH-] ion concentrations are 1.0 x 10-7 M. The value of Kw at 25C is therefore

A capacitor is charged to a potential difference of 12v it delivers 40% of its stored energy to a lamp what is the final potenti
Korolek [52]
Call the capacitance C.
<span>Note the energy in a capacitor with voltage V is E =½CV². </span>

<span>Initial energy = ½C(12)² = 72C </span>

<span>40% of energy is delivered, so 60% remains.in the capacitor. </span>
<span>Remaining energy = (60/100) x 72C =43.2C </span>

<span>If the final potential difference is X, the energy stored is ½CX² </span>
<span>½CX² = 43.2C </span>
<span>X² = 2 x 43.2 = 86.4 </span>

Suppose high tide is at midnight, the water level at midnight is 3 m, and the water level at low tide is 0.5 m. Assuming the nex
aev [14]

We have that the time, to the nearest minute, when the water level is at 1.125 m for the second time after midnight is

t=10.0hours

From the Question we are told that

Maximum height h_{max}=3m

Minimum height  H_{min}=0.5m

Time for  next high tide will occurT=12 hours =>720 min

Generally Average Height

h_{avg}=\frac{3+0.5}{2}\\\\h_{avg}=1.75

Therefore determine Amplitude to be

A=h_{max}=j_{avg}\\\\A=3-1.75\\\\A=1.25

Generally, the equation for Time is mathematically given by

At t=0

h(x)=Acos(Bx)+h_{avg}

Where

B=\frac{2\pi}{P}\\\\B=\frac{2\pi}{720}\\\\B=8.73*10^{-3}

Therefore

h(t)=Acos8.73*10^{-3}(t)+h_{avg}

Hence the Time at T=1.125 is

1.125(t)=1.25cos(8.73*10^{-3})(t)+1.75

-0.1249t=1.75

t=10.0hours
