Mnenie [13.5K]

The information that should be added to the chart in order to find out who ran a greater distance is THE UNITS USED TO MEASURE DISTANCE EACH DAY.

In science, the use of units if very important and each record made must be accompany with relevant units that are appropriate for the measurement taken. If units are not used along with data, it will be very difficult to quantify the values that are recorded. Scientists all over the world use SI units in their works in order to ensure uniformity.

What's a word equation
Yuri [45]
A word equation is a chemical reaction described using words.
A common example is the act of photosynthesis - the process plants use to make glucose (sugar) to use as 'food'.
Plants convert water and carbon dioxide into oxygen and glucose.
A word equation to express this is:
Water + Carbon Dioxide → Glucose + Oxygen
The other type of equation is a symbol equation - this uses the symbols of the elements instead of the common names:
H₂O + CO₂ → C₆H₁₂O₆ + O₂
There is also a balanced version:
6H₂O + 6CO₂ → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂
If you want information on the balanced symbol equations, feel free to PM me.

The maximum efficiency possible in an energy conversion process that is not limited by the second law of thermodynamics
Anna [14]

Answer:

100 %

Explanation:

The maximun efficiency possible (whem not limited by the second law of thermodynamics) happens when all the energy used is transformed into the type of energy we required with no other transformations.

For example, in an engine we want that all the energy we supply is being converted to work. That's the ideal case, but in reality always some of that energy is lost in the form of heat.
