Answer:

v = 54 m/s

Explanation:

Given,

The maximum height of the flight of golf ball, h = 150 m

The velocity at height h, u = 0

The velocity of the golf ball right before it hits the ground, v = ?

Using the III equations of motion

                                 v² = u² + 2gh

Substituting the given values in the above equation,

                                 v² = 0 + 2 x 9.8 x 150 m

                                     = 2940

                                  v = 54 m/s

Hence, the speed of the golf ball right before it hits the ground, v = 54 m/s

Give an example of a substance with an amorphous structure.
Rashid [163]

Answer:

Tempered glass

Explanation:

When warmed, an amorphous substance has a non-crystalline architecture that differentiates from its isochemical liquid, but this does not go through structural breakdown or the glass transition.

1. The speed of sound in air is roughly 1,484 m/s. How far, in meters, would a sound wave travel in 3 seconds?
kobusy [5.1K]
Speed = distance/time taken

1484 = distance/3

Distance = 1484 x 3

Distance = 4452 m

Can earthquakes with a magnitude between 3.0 and 6.0 produce high intensity levels?
laiz [17]
3.0 typically is only felt by people who are resting or on the up stairs of buildings. 6.0 is more intense. I would say a 6.0 can produce high intensity levels. A 6.0 can damage buildings of good design and structure. Damagable in poorly built or badly designed structures. Some chimneys may be broken.
