Answer:

a stitch in time saves nine Is:

Qualitative

Explanation:

Qualitative quantitative are two different postures of observational research methods to obtain information and produce knowledge. Qualitative is the form of observational research that doesn't provide us statistical data to be interpreted and create deductions. It just provides associations about two certain objects based on the experience of the subject. Quantitative is the research method that gathers information and translates it to statistical data to produce deduction. In our case, we don't have a study that can provide us enough information to know that a stitch in time can save nine. We can just assume it because it establishes a relation between carrying on a stitch in time instead of carrying nine of them out of time to lose our chances.

What is the relationship between the concentration of particles in a solution and the solution’s vapor pressure? As solute conce
kap26 [50]

Answer:

As solute concentration increases, vapor pressure decreases.

Step-by-step explanation:

As solute concentration increases, the number of solute particles at the surface of the solution increases, so the number of solvent particles at the surface decreases.

Since there are fewer solvent particles available to evaporate from the surface, the vapour pressure decreases.

C. and D. are wrong. The vapour pressure depends only on the number of particles. It does not depend on the nature of the particles.

arsen [322]

Answer:

a) ppm

b) ppm

c) ppb

d) ppt

e) ppb

Explanation:

a) You know that 1000 g are 1 kg, and 1000 kg are 1 ton, so (1000)*(1000) g are 1 ton, so 1,000,000 grams are one ton.

b) 1000 mg are 1 g, and 1000 g are 1 liter, so 1,000,000 grams are one liter.

c) You know that 1000 ug are 1 mg, so with the b), we just need to multiply the answer by 1000, so 1,000,000,000 ug are 1 liter.

d) The same as c, 1000 ng are 1 mg. So we are talkinf of ppt.

e) 1000 mg are 1 g. And 1000 g are 1 kg, then 1000 kg are one ton. So 1,000,000,000 mg are one ton.
