Depression Can be fixed or at least helped by getting medication. There is nothing wrong with asking for help from your parents and doctor. Dealing with Stress I like to write In a journal which helps me consider what is causing my Stress so I can fix it or eliminate it from my life. You can try spending 5 minutes alone in your bedroom with all the light off with you putting your feet above your head while you are laying down. (I use a wall to put my feet up) Close your eyes and just listen to your breathing, It always helps me with My anxiety.

If there is resistance to the bvm when ventilating a tracheostomy patient the emt should:_________
Eva8 [605]

If there is resistance to the BVM when ventilating a tracheostomy patient the EMT should check air is escaping through a hole in the lung and filling the pleural space.

What is tracheostomy?

A tracheostomy is a hole made in the front of the neck to allow a tube to be inserted into the windpipe trachea to assist breathing.

The tube can be connected to an oxygen supply and a breathing machine called a ventilator if necessary.

Individuals notice increased resistance to ventilations while ventilating an intubated patient with a bag-valve-mask-unit. This could mean that air is escaping from the lung and filling the pleural space.

Thus, the EMT should check for this.
