D: Velocity is decreasing. Acceleration is increasing.

A: Velocity is zero.

The pendulum starts from rest at A, hence the velocity of pendulum at A is zero.

So velocity is zero at A

As the pendulum swings from A to E, it first gains speed from A to C and the speed decreases from C to E coming to a momentary stop at E.

Similarly, as the pendulum swings from A to E, the acceleration first decreases A to C (becoming zero at C) and the acceleration increases from C to E coming to a maximum at E.

So

D: Velocity is decreasing. Acceleration is increasing.

A homeowner uses a snowblower to clear his driveway. knowing that the snow is discharged at an average angle of 40° with the hor
Nesterboy [21]

given that snow is projected at an angle of 40 degree

It range is given as a = 19 ft

a = 19 * 0.3048 = 5.8 m

now we can use the formula of horizontal range

R = \frac{v_o^2 sin2\theta}{g}

5.8 =\frac{ v_o^2 sin(2*40)}{9.8}

5.8 = \frac{v_o^2 * sin80}{9.8}

v_o^2 = 57.7

v_o = 7.6 m/s

so its initial speed must be 7.6 m/s

What is the definition of energy in scientific terms? It’s the k 12 plz help mehhh
Aleks [24]

Explanation:

In science energy is simply defined as the ability to do work. Anything that causes work to be done must have expended some form of energy .

Energy is broadly categorized into two parts;

 • Kinetic energy is the energy due to the motion of a body.
 • Potential energy is the energy at rest in a body.
 • Other forms of energy stems these two forms of energy.
 • Thermal energy, mechanical energy are examples of kinetic energy.
 • Chemical energy, gravitational energy are examples of potential energy.
 • Energy is neither created nor destroyed but transformed from one form to another according to the law of conservation of energy.
