In past centuries, many people believed in a static Universe—one that had existed forever without changing much, and one that wo

Answer:

A.

Explanation:

The big bang theory states that at the beginning all the matter was compressed in a particle, that explodes and started to spread in the space. According to it, the universe couldn't be static, because the matter would still be spreading.

With telescopes, scientists could observe that some galaxies are moving far ways from the other, proving that the universe is not static. The starts being held together doesn't demonstrate the movement of the matter in the universe, and neither their formation nor dying, which only demonstrates that the matter is being "used".

The movement of the light at a constant speed is a characteristic of the light, and it doesn't demonstrate that the universe is or isn't static.

The answer is A. Most galaxies appear to be moving away from each other. Scientists discovered this when looking through very expensive microscopes, and saw that the universe was always growing and expanding, as if exploding from one point and moving outward.

Which protein is responsible for initial denaturation of oric in
e. coli?
Minchanka [31]
The answer is dnaA, it is a protein that enacts start of DNA replication in microscopic organisms. It is a replication start figure which advances the loosening up of DNA at oriC. The onset of the start period of DNA replication is controlled by the grouping of DnaA.

A compound is made up of 80.0 % C and 20.0 % H. Its molar mass is 30.0 g. What is its molecular formula?
Greeley [361]

Answer:

Molecular formula = C₂H₆

Explanation:

Given data:

Percentage of hydrogen = 20.0 %

Percentage of carbon = 80.0 %

Molar mass = 30.0 g

Empirical formula = ?

Solution:

Number of gram atoms of H = 20 / 1.01 = 19.8

Number of gram atoms of C = 80 /12 = 6.7

Atomic ratio:

            C              :           H

         6.7/6.7        :        19.8/6.7

            1               :           3

C : H = 1 : 3

Empirical formula is CH₃.

Molecular formula:

Molecular formula = n (empirical formula)

n = molar mass of compound / empirical formula mass

Empirical formula = CH₃ = 12×1 +3×1.01 = 15.03 g/mol

n = 30 g/mol / 15.03 g/mol

n = 2

Molecular formula = n (empirical formula)

Molecular formula = 2 (CH₃)

Molecular formula = C₂H₆

Suppose you are provided with a 35.83 g sample of potassium chlorate to perform this experiment. What is the mass of potassium c
Charra [1.4K]

For a 35.83 g sample of potassium chlorate, the mass of potassium chloride is mathematically given as

M Kcl=21.62g

What is the mass of potassium chloride you expect to release upon heating?

Generally, the equation for the Chemical Reaction is mathematically given as

2KClO_3----->2KCl+2O_2

Therefore

Mole of KCl=\frac{35.57}{122.55}

Mole of KCl=0.29mol

Mass of Kcl=0.29*74.55

Mass of Kcl=21.62g

In conclusion, Mass of Kcl

M Kcl=21.62g
