The direction of the curl of magnetic field is determined by right hand thumb rule. Suppose you are holding a current carrying wire in your right hand such that the direction in which your thumb points is the direction of the current in the that wire then the fingers curled will determine the direction of the magnetic field. In B, the direction of current in the wire is towards ourself. Now, use right hand rule such that the thumb points towards yourself. The curled fingers rotate clockwise. Therefore, the magnetic field is in anti-clock direction

Are most main sequence stars larger or smaller than the sun?
timama [110]

Answer: Main sequence stars fuse hydrogen atoms to form helium atoms in their cores. About 90 percent of the stars in the universe, including the sun, are main sequence stars. These stars can range from about a tenth of the mass of the sun to up to 200 times as massive.

What use do we have for motion diagrams?
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

A motion diagram represents the motion of an object by displaying its location at various equally spaced times on the same diagram. Motion diagrams are a pictorial description of an object's motion. They show an object's position and velocity initially and present several spots in the center of the diagram.

A television camera is positioned 4000 ft from the base of a rocket launching pad. The angle of elevation of the camera has to c
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

a ) 540 ft /s

b )  .144° /s

Explanation:

Let at any moment h be the height of the rocket . The distance of rocket from camera will be R

R ² = 4000² + h²

Differentiating both sides with respect to t

R dR/dt = h dh/dt

dR/dt = h/R  dh/dt

a ) Given speed of rocket

dh/dt = 900

h = 3000

R² = 4000² + 3000²

R = 5000

dR/dt = h/R  dh/dt

= (3000 / 5000 ) X 900

dR/dt = 540 ft /s

b ) Let θ be angle of elevation at the moment .

4000 / R = cosθ

Differentiating with respect to t

- 4000 x 1 / R² dR/dt = - sinθ dθ / dt

4000 x ( 1/ 5000² ) x 540 = 3 /5 x dθ / dt

.0864 = 3/5  dθ / dt

dθ / dt = .144° /s

what is the rate of acceleration of a 2,000-kg truck if a force of 4,200n is used to make it start moving forward
Basile [38]
I have concluded that the formula for this equation would be F = ma, therefore the equation would look like this:

F = ma
F = 4,200n/ 2,000 kg
   = 2.1

The rate of acceleration is 2.1, hopefully I this will be of assistance to you. :)
