What is the mass, in grams, of 28.42 mL of acetone?
NNADVOKAT [17]
V = 28,42 mL = 0,02 L
molar mass C3H6O = 58

n C3H6O
= V / 22,4
= 0,02 / 22,4
= 0,0009 mol

mass
= n x molar mass
= 0,0009 x 58
= 0,0522 gr

True or false: plants, animals, and the environment are not dependent on each other for the use of carbon and oxygen.
Reil [10]
False; animals breathe in oxygen and they produce carbon dioxide when they breathe out, and plants breathe in that carbon dioxide that the animals produce, and with that the plants create oxygen

They basically just swap oxygen for CO2, or CO2 for oxygen! So the answer is false because they DO depend on each other for the use of Oxygen and Carbon dioxide! Hope this helped :)

How will volume affect the mass of a liquid?
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

it will affect the mass by changing in pressure will affect the volume (and therefore density) of gases, but will not noticeably affect the volume (or density) of solids and liquids. For gases: An increase in pressure leads to a decrease in volume and an increase in density. A decrease in pressure leads to an increase in volume and an decrease in density.
