The answer for ''4x = 5x - 12'' would be x = 12.

4x - 5x = 12 (subtract 5x from both sides)

-x = -12 (simplify 4x - 5x to -x)

x = -12 ( multiply both sides by -1) .

For the 2nd one ''10p + 5 = 18p - 6/2''

The answer is 1 not those choices

10p + 5 = 18p - 3

5 = 18p - 3 - 10p

5 = 8p - 3

5 + 3 = 8p

8 = 8p

1 = p

p = 1.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!!
IMAGE DOWN BELOW!!
ILL GIVE YOU BRAINLIST ANSWER!!
drek231 [11]

Answer:

5.946 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the Pythagorean Theorem, we know that in a right angle triangle to find the longest side we must use the equation a^2 = b^2 + c^2

A is the longest side while b and c are the other two sides

To find one side we must use

b^2 = a^2 - c^2

a squared = 6.9 squared - 3.5 squared

a^2 = 35.36

square root 35.36 to get a

a = 5.946427499

a (3 d.p.) = 5.946
