What you know:
Vi=0m/s
Vf=143.8m/s
A=-9.8m/s
d=???
Use the equation Vf^2=Vi^2+2A(d)
Rearrange to isolate d: d=Vf^2/2A
d=(143.8)^2/2(-9.8)
d=20678.4/-19.6
d=-1055m
The tank was released from a height of 1055m

Kobotan [32]

F = 750 N  (Force)

d = 10 m  (displacement )

t = 25 s   (time)

L = ?   (Mechanical work )  =  (Energy)

P = ?   (Power)

Solve:

L = F × d = 750 × 10 = 7500 Joules

P = L / t = 7500 / 25 = 300 Watts

BartSMP [9]

Answer

given,

Echo time = t = 1000 s

speed = ?

v = \dfrac{d}{t}

a) speed of electromagnetic wave

c = \dfrac{d}{t}

wave travels Venus two time

c = \dfrac{2d}{t}

d = \dfrac{ct}{2}

d = \dfrac{3 \times 10^8\times 1000}{2}

d = 1.5 x 10¹¹ m

b) now, echo time

    c = \dfrac{2d}{t}

    t = \dfrac{2d}{c}

    t = \dfrac{2\times 75}{3 \times 10^8}

          t = 5 x 10⁻⁷ s
