slope = {{ m}}= \cfrac{rise}{run} \implies
\cfrac{{{ y_2}}-{{ y_1}}}{{{ x_2}}-{{ x_1}}}\implies \cfrac{28-19}{-15-(-6)}\implies \cfrac{28-19}{-15+6}

\cfrac{9}{-9}\implies -1

% point-slope intercept
y-{{ y_1}}={{ m}}(x-{{ x_1}})\implies y-19=-1(x-(-6))\\

y-19=-(x+6)

(-6,19) (-15,28)

28-19/-15-(-6)= 9/-9= -1

19=(-1)(-6) + b
19= 6 +b
b= 13
Therefore:
y= -x + 13

Given the equation p = s Subscript 1 Baseline t minus 2 Subscript 2 Baseline t, which equation is solved for t? t = p (s Subscri
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

Option C) is correct

That is t=StartFraction p Over s Subscript 1 Baseline minus s Subscript 2 Baseline EndFraction

It also can be written as t=\frac{p}{s_{1}-s_{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation can be written as below:

p=s_{1}t-s_{2}t

Now to solve the equation for t:

p=s_{1}t-s_{2}t

Taking common term t outside on RHS we get

p=(s_{1}-s_{2})t

\frac{p}{s_{1}-s_{2}}=t

Rewritting the above equation as below

t=\frac{p}{s_{1}-s_{2}}

Therefore option C) is correct

That is t=StartFraction p Over s Subscript 1 Baseline minus s Subscript 2 Baseline EndFraction

It also can be written as t=\frac{p}{s_{1}-s_{2}}

M is the centroid (center of gravity) of △ABC, line k goes thru M and intersects AB and AC . The distances of the vertices B and
lana [24]

Answer:

  30

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint of BC will be a distance from line k that is the average of the distances of B and C: (17+13)/2 = 15. Call that midpoint P. We know distance MP is half of distance MA. This same relationship will hold with respect to the distances from P and A to any line through M. That is, the distance from line k (through M) is twice the distance from P to line k: 30 units.

Solve the problem. Make sure your answer is in simplest form. 3/16 x 4/21 = ?
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

\frac{1}{28}

Step-by-step explanation:

The result is given by means of some algebraic handling:

\frac{3}{16}\times \frac{4}{21}

\frac{12}{336} - Multiplication of rationals.

\frac{6}{168} - Dividing each term by 2.

\frac{3}{84} - Dividing each term by 2.

\frac{1}{28} - Dividing each term by 3.
