Concentrate on the numbers alone. The GCF of 35, 14 and 63 is 7.

You know y^4 goes into every number, so that'll be in your answer as well.

The final answer would be 7y^4.

-5n - 3 - 3 > 19
-5n - 6 > 19
+ 6 +6
-5n > 25
divide by -5 on each side
change signs since dividing by negative

N< -5

For graphing on the line, you will create an OPEN circle on -5 and sketch it to the left.

A phone company offers two monthly plans. Plan A costs $10 plus an additional $0.15 for each minute of calls. Plan B costs $30 p
Mkey [24]

First, you need to write to expressions to model each situation:

Plan A: 10+0.15x

Plan B: 30+0.1x

Next, set the expressions equal to each other and solve for x:

10+0.15x=30+0.1x

*Subtract 0.1x from both sides to isolate the variable*

10+0.05x=30

*Subtract 10 from both sides*

0.05x=20

*Divide both sides by 0.05*

x=400

The plans would have the same cost after 400 minutes of calls.

To find how much money the plans cost at 400 minutes, plug 400 into either expression. We'll use Plan A:

10+0.15(400)

10+60

70

The plans will cost $70.

Hope this helps!

Rob is twice Joshua's age. Nick is 5 years older than Joshua. The sum of all their ages is 45. How old is Nick?
MatroZZZ [7]

Given

Rob is twice Joshua's age

Nick is 5 years older than Joshua.

sum of all their ages is 45.

Find the age of nick.

To proof

As given

Rob is twice Joshua's age

let  Joshua's age = x

than Rob age = 2x

Nick is 5 years older than Joshua.

Nick age = 5 + x

sum of all their ages is 45

than the equation becomes

Joshua's age + Rob age + Nick age = 45

put the value

x + 2x + 5 + x = 45

4x = 40

x = 10

Joshua's age = 10 year

than Rob age = 20 year

Nick age = 5 + 10

                = 15year

Hence proved
