7*0.23 =1.61 pints of alcohol in 7 pints of 23% solution
3*0.7 =2.1 pints of alcohol in 3 pints of 70% solution
10x = pints pf alcohol in 10-pint mixture

7*0.23+3*0.7=10x
1.61+2.1=10x
3.71 = 10x
x = 0.371 = 37.1% is the concentration of the new 10-pint mixture

MgX2 Very low density Highly reactive Diatomic Using the periodic table, determine which element these characteristics MOST LIKE
photoshop1234 [79]
Oxygen, fluorine and iodine are diatomic elements. Flourine is more reactive than the other two because it is the closest away to filling its outer layer of electrons and becoming stable like a noble gas.

sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

Once you have collected 40 mL of distillate, you should ________.

turn off the hot plate and carefully lower the lab jack, making sure that no cords or hoses get caught in it.

Explanation:

Distillate is the product obtained from the process of distillation.  Distillation is the separation of components of a liquid mixture based on different boiling points. Distillation can be used to purify alcohol, for desalination, refining of crude oil, and for obtaining liquefied gases.  A lab jack is an essential tool that supports and lifts hotplates, glassware, baths, and other small lab equipment requiring stable surfaces at a specific height.

How many moles of AgNO3 are present in 1.50 L of a 0.050 M solution?
elixir [45]
To calculate the moles of AgNO3 in a solution, we need to know the volume and concentration of the solution.
Moles of AgNO3 = Volume of AgNO3 solution (L) * concentration of AgNO3 solution (M or mole/L) = 1.50 L * 0.050 M = 0.075 mole.

So 0.075 moles of AgNO3 are present in 1.50 L of a 0.050 M solution.

What mass of water in grams will fill a tank 126cm long, 47 cm wide, and 13 cm high
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

Mass =  76986  g

Explanation:

Given data:

Dimensions of tank = 126 cm× 47 cm× 13 cm

Mass of water required to filled = ?

Solution:

First of all we will calculate the volume of tank which is equal to the volume of water required to fill it.

Volume = length ×height ×width

Volume = 126 cm × 13 cm× 47 cm

Volume = 76986 cm³

Mass of water:

Mass = density × volume

density of water is 1 g/cm³

Mass = 1 g/cm³× 76986 cm³

Mass =  76986  g
