Serena has 6 photo albums with 15 photos in each
so serena has (6 * 15) = 90 photos.
maya has 8 albums with 13 photos in each.
so maya has (8 * 13) = 104 photos
if serena add another 12 photos to her album....(90 + 12) = 102 photos

so in total, serena and maya have 102 + 104 = 206 photos <=

The primeter of a rectangle is 53 meters. The length is 2.3 meters longer than the width, w. Write and solve an equation to ind
lys-0071 [83]

The perimeter is the total of adding all of the sides together. A rectangle has 2 lengths and 2 widths. The equation would be:

P = 2l + 2w or P = l + l + w + w

Since you know the perimeter, you can plug it into the equation

53 = 2l + 2w

You can divide the 2 on both sides

26.5 = l + w

l = w + 2.3 because the length is 2.3 meters longer/more than the width. You can substitute (w + 2.3) for "l" in the equation. So instead of:

26.5 = l + w

It will be:

26.5 = (w + 2.3) + w

26.5 = w + 2.3 + w

Subtract 2.3 on both sides

24.3 = w + w

24.3 = 2w

Divide 2 on both sides

12.1 = w

The width is 12.1 meters

Fiona wrote out the description of each step for her multiplication of the binomial and trinomial (2x – 3)(5x2 – 2x + 7).
Valentin [98]

Answer:

Step 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Fiona did mistake step 2.

Use the distributive property to multiply -3 times each term in the trinomial.

The correct result is

-3(5x^2 - 2x + 7) = -15x^2 + 6x - 21

Fiona written -6x instead of + 6x.

That's the error.

The answer is "Step 2"

Hope you will understand the concept.

Thank you.
