Answer:

D. the armature and commutator

Explanation:

An electric generator is based on the principle that when a conducting coil rotates in the magnetic field, an electric current is generated. It converts mechanical energy to electrical energy.

Armature is the rotating part of the generator. Armature is connected to commutator which is a cylindrical in shape and rotates with it. It also connects the armature to the external circuit by brushes.

What is the momentum of a 12,000 kg car moving at a speed of 40 m/s?
Harman [31]

Momentum = (mass) x (speed)

Momentum = (12,000 kg) x (40 m/s)

Momentum = (12,000 x 40) kg-m/s

Momentum = 480,000 kg-m/s

Pls help me solve these questions.

The value of constant in terms of Force, k, A, V and ρ is x = ln (F /kAρV ).

What is opposing force?

The force which tends to oppose motion of fluid in forward direction like shear stress in liquids and friction force in solids

A body moving through the air at speed V, experiences the retarding force.

Force = kAρVˣ

where A is the surface area, ρ is the density of air and k is the numerical constant.

Taking natural logarithm both sides,

ln F = ln (kAρVˣ)

ln F = x ln (kAρV)

x = ln F / ln (kAρV)

x= ln (F /kAρV )

x= ln F - ln (kAρV)

Thus, the value of constant is deduced in terms of Force , k, A, V and ρ.

Learn about opposing force.

98 POINTS, 5 simple questions!! HELP
lozanna [386]

25,000 Feet = 7620m

PE = mgh where m is mass, g is gravity accel: 9.8 n h is height

= 90 x 9.8 x 7620

= 6720840J

= 6.72MJ

F = ma where m is mass, a is accel = gravity = 9.8

= 90 x 9.8

= 882N

Accel = gravity = 9.8m/s^2

KE = 1/2mv^2 where m is mass n v is vel

if no wind resistance, PE leaving airplane = KE at net

6720840 = 1/2 x 90 x v^2

v^2 = 149352

v = 386.5m/s
