4 0

Answer: 0 Joules

Explanation:

According to first law of thermodynamics:

\Delta E=q+w

\Delta E=Change in internal energy

q = heat absorbed or released

w = work done or by the system

w = work done by the system=-P\Delta V  {Work is done by the system when the final volume is greater than initial volume and is negative and vice versa}

Given : The volume is constant , i.e. \Delta V=0

w = =[tex]-P\times 0=0J/tex]

Thus no work is done by the gas during this process.

What is a period in physics?<br>
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

The period of a wave is the time for a particle on a medium to make one complete vibrational cycle. Period, being a time, is measured in units of time such as seconds, hours, days or years. The period of orbit for the Earth around the Sun is approximately 365 days; it takes 365 days for the Earth to complete a cycle.

A box mass of 24kg is being pulled horizontally on a rough surface by an applied force of 585N. The coefficient of kinetic frict
Elan Coil [88]

the normal force is the force applied opposite to the weight of the was box. So the normal force is equal to the weight of the box = 24 kg *(9.81 m/s2) = 235.44 N

the acceleration of the box be solve using newtons 2nd law of motion:

F = ma

a = F/ m = 585 N/ 24 kg = 24.38 m/s2
