Answer:

Final temperature = 25.71°C

Explanation:

By using formula Q=mcΔT

let's say x is final temperature

950 = 150.1 × 4.18 × ( x - 24.2 )

950 = 627.418 × ( x - 24.2)

950 = 627.418x - 15183.5156

627.418x - 15183.5156 = 950

627.418x = 950 + 15183.5156

627.418x = 16133.5156

x = 16133.5156 / 627.418

x = 25.71 °C

So...the final temperature is 25.71 °C

Match the action to the effect on the equilibrium position for the reaction N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3(g). Match Term Definition Remo
pshichka [43]

Answer:

The answers to the questions are given below.

Explanation:

According to Le Chatelier's principle, if an external constrain such as change in concentration, temperature or pressure is imposed on a chemical system in equilibrium, the equilibrium will shift in order to neutralize the effect.

A. Effective of removing ammonia, NH3.

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3(g)

Removing NH3 from the reaction simply means we are left with more reactants and no product. Therefore, the reactant will react to produce the product. Hence, the equilibrium position will shift to the right.

2. Effect of removing H2

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3(g)

Remoing H2 simply means we have more products and less reactant. Therefore, the product will be convert to reactant. Hence, the equilibrium position will shift to the left.

C. Effect of adding a catalyst.

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3(g)

Catalyst does not affect the equilibrium position. It only creates an alternative path to arrive at the product within a short time. Hence, it has no effect.

13. What is the frequency of a wave that has a wavelength of 2.73 x 10-7m?
ella [17]

Answer:

f = 1.09 × 10¹⁵ Hz

Explanation:

Given data:

Frequency of wave = ?

Wavelength of wave = 2.73 ×10⁻⁷ m

Solution:

Formula:

Speed of light = frequency × wavelength

speed of light = 3× 10⁸ m/s

by putting values,

3× 10⁸ m/s = f × 2.73 ×10⁻⁷ m

f = 3× 10⁸ m/s  / 2.73 ×10⁻⁷ m

f = 1.09 × 10¹⁵s⁻¹

s⁻¹ = Hz

f = 1.09 × 10¹⁵ Hz

If a 60-g object has a volume of 30 cm3, what is its density? 2 g/cm3 0.5 cm3/g 1800 g * cm3 none of the above
jasenka [17]

Answer : The density of an object is, 2g/cm^3

Solution : Given,

Mass of an object = 60 g

Volume of an object = 30cm^3

Formula used :

\text{Density of an object}=\frac{\text{Mass of an object}}{\text{Volume of an object}}

Now put all the given values in this formula, we get the density of an object.

\text{Density of an object}=\frac{60g}{30cm^3}=2g/cm^3

Therefore, the density of an object is, 2g/cm^3
