Answer:

number of atoms = 1.993 x 10^25 atoms

Explanation:

please check the attached photo of the complete question

To get the number of atoms we need to get first the mass of titanium by using this formula :

mass = density * volume

the volume of the cube = length^3

1 inch = 2.54 centimeters

2.78 inch = ??

length in cm = 2.54 * 2.78 = 7.0612 cm

so the volume = length^3 = 7^3 = 352.07528346 cm^3

bs substitution in mass formula:

when density = 4.5 g/cm and volume =352.07528346 Cm^

mass = 4.5 * 352.07528346 = 1584.33877557 g

the number of atoms = mass / molar mass * avogadro's number(constant)

                                   = (1584.33877557/47.867 )* 6.02 * 10^23

                                   = 33.0988 * (6.02*10^23) atoms

                                    =1.993 x 10^25 atoms

3241004551 [841]

When NAD becomes NADH, it is being reduced and gaining chemical energy.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), a coenzyme, can exist in two forms, NAD⁺ (oxidized) and NADH (reduced form).

Electrons and protons released in catabolism reactions are attached to NAD⁺. The conversion of NAD⁺ to NADH is important reaction for production of ATP during the cellular respiration.

Reduction is lowering oxidation number because element, ion or compound gain electrons.

Chemical equation for reaction of reduction of NAD⁺ (see picture below):

NAD⁺ + 2e⁻ + H⁺ → NADH

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is made of two nucleosides joined by pyrophosphate.
