Compare the temperature of water as ice begins to form with the temperature of ice as it begins to melt

They are the same temperature.

If you have 1 gram of ice  at zero degrees C, you have to pump 334 joules
of heat energy into it in order to<em> just change it from solid to liquid</em> at the <em>same temperature. </em>

This is one of the highest figures known for any substance, and that's why
a piece of ice does such a good job cooling your drink.

Three balls are kicked from the ground level at some angles above horizontal with different initial speeds. All three balls reac
astra-53 [7]

Answer:

They all hit at the same time

Explanation:

Let the time of flight is T.

The maximum height is H and the horizontal range is R.

The formula for the time of flight is

T=\frac{2uSin\theta }{g} ..... (1)

Te formula for the maximum height is

H=\frac{u^{2}Sin^{2}\theta }{2g}    .... (2)

From equation (1) and (2), we get

\frac{T^{2}}{H}=\frac{\frac{4u^{2}Sin^{2}\theta }{g^{2}}}{\frac{u^{2}Sin^{2}\theta }{2g}}

\frac{T^{2}}{H}=\frac{8}{g}

T=\sqrt{\frac{8H}{g}}

here, we observe that the time of flight depends on the maximum height and according to the question, the maximum height for all the three balls is same so the time of flight of all the three balls is also same.

How does the science of heat transfer differ from the science of thermodynamics?
mariarad [96]

Answer:

The science of thermodynamics deals with the fundamental laws that guide how physical processes occur in relation with the energy transfer. When a system or process changes from one state of equilibrium to another, thermodynamics is interested with the amount of heat transfer during the process. On the other hand, the science of heat transfer is simply about the rate of heat and temperature distribution inside a system at a particular point in time.

PLS HELP ME<br> How does one stage in a stars life lead to another
Oxana [17]
Just as during formation, when the material contracts, the temperature and pressure increase. This newly generated heat temporarily counteracts the force of gravity, and the outer layers of the star are now pushed outward ( in not sure tho ) I hope this helps
