Is the temperature at which a substance melts the same as the temperature changes from a liquid to a solid
sasho [114]

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

If the temperature changes a substance from it's original form, going from solid to liquid, then the temperature required to change it from a liquid to a solid are the opposite. For example, Ice is Water (H2O) in it's solid form. In order to freeze water into ice, the temperature must be very low. In order to melt the ice back into water, the temperature must be higher than the freezing point, but not too high or it will boil, making it a gaseous substance instead.

Weathering and erosion are the same thing. true or false? i personally think its false but just to be sure lol
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

It is false.

Explanation:

Weathering is the general process by which rocks are broken down at Earth's surface. Erosion is a set of processes that loosen and move soil and rock downhill or downwind. Umm...for example, imagine you are having ice cream in your hand out on a sunny day, if the ice-cream melts and falls down, it is called erosion and if the ice-cream melts but it doesn't fall down, it called weathering.
