The definition of heat transfer through convection involves the movement of a fluid that causes heat to move away from a hear source. That being said, convection can take place in a lake, air inside, and air outside since both liquids and gasses are considered to be fluids. I hope this helps. Let me know if anything is unclear.

Answer:

Final volume 30.513 L.

Explanation:

According to general gas equation:

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

Given data:

Initial volume = 17 L

Initial pressure = 2.3 atm

Initial temperature = 299 K

Final temperature = 350 K

Final volume = ?

Final pressure = 1.5 atm

Solution:

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

V₂ = P₁V₁ T₂/ T₁ P₂

V₂ = 2.3 atm × 17 L × 350 K / 299 K × 1.5 atm

V₂  =  13685 atm .L.  K  / 448.5 K . atm

V₂  = 30.513 L

What would happen to the ecosystem if there were no nitrogen-fixing bacteria
Gre4nikov [31]
Essentially all the available nitrogen for life in the form of nitrates and ammonia would eventually disappear. Nitrogen is needed to make proteins and other chemicals so it is required for all life to exist. It gets recycled so it would take many decades in most places before the available nitrogen ran out. Many crops like beans depend on it. Humans can manufacture it but it would be hard on the ecosystems of the world and eventually probably lead to the extinction of all the ecosystems of the world.

Hope this helps!
