Write the equation for the reaction described: A solid metal oxide, Ag2O, and hydrogen are the products of the reaction between
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

2Ag + H2O -----> Ag2O + 2H

Explanation:

2Ag + H2O -----> Ag2O + 2H is the equation of the reaction between metal and steam. Silver reacts with water (steam) forming silver oxide and hydrogen gas. When the metals react with steam it produces the solid metal oxide and hydrogen gas. On the surface o metals, a protective layer of aluminium oxide is formed that keeps water away from the metal so we can say that silver oxide and hydrogen are formed from the reaction of silver metal and steam.

Answer:

The second one is the correct statement.

Explanation:

An atom consists of a dense, heavy, positively charged central part called nucleus. It consists of neutrons and protons.

The electrons revolves around the nucleus in circular paths. These electrons are called planetary electrons because they can be compared to various planets revolving around the sun and the nucleus is compared with sun.

Which parts of atoms can interact (react) to form chemical bonds?
EastWind [94]
The valence electrons are the parts of an atom that make interactions and make chemical bonds.
Every atom is made of three different components, a positively charged proton, neutrally charged neutron and negatively charged electron. The protons and the neutrons make up the atom's core and the electrons orbit around that core.
The electrons that orbit around the atom's core in its outer-most orbit (the one that is the furthest from the atom's core) can interact with electrons of other atoms, forming different kinds of chemical bonds.
If there is an exchange of the electrons (one atom donates its electrons to another atom), that results in forming of ions, then those two atoms can be linked in an ionic bond.
If an electron is shared between two atoms, then that bond is called a covalent bond.
