Thermal energy is not in the process of being transferred it is not in transit but remains as part of the internal energy of the system heat on the other hand is energy in transit energy is the process of being transferred from a hotter system towards another colder system

A car is traveling at a velocity of 13.5 m/sec (30 mph) north on a straight road. The mass of the car is 1,000 kg. Calculate the
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

The momentum of the body would be 13500 kg .m/sec

Explanation:

What Momentum Entails

momentum is a property that is possed by all moving objects, it is a product of mass and velocity. A moving object has a magnitude which is the mass of the body and direction which is the velocity towards a certain direction, so it is a vector quantity

Step by Step Calculation

The momentum of a body can be gotten from the expression below;

p = m x v

where p is the momentum

m is the mass of the body = 1000 kg

v is the velocity = 13.5 m/sec

Given these parameters our momentum would be;

p = 1000 kg x 13.5 m/sec

p = 13500 kg . m/sec

Therefore the momentum of the body would be 13500 kg. m/sec

A soft-drink bottler purchases glass bottles from a vendor. The bottles are required to have internal pressure strength of at le
maria [59]

Answer: K =24 psi

Explanation:

Given: Standard deviation =3psi

Internal pressure strength =157psi

Number of random bottle =n=64

K= 3 × square root of 64

K= 3×8=24 psi

If mean internal pressure K fall below K,

157-1.3=155.7psi

At 2%:

0.16×64 = 10.24
