Chemistry

Well they can be used to make electromagnets that can power a lot of things like door bells and if you have a large not like the size of a fist larger enough to power a house or a decent sized building.

So we know that there are two types of electric currents AC and DC. (AC-DC). The flowing electrons produce something called a magnetic field and the spinning magnets cause Electric current to flow between copper wire.

Example time!

Take a battery, copper wire, and a magnet. Battery connection thing. So place the battery at the bottom put the magnet on top. With the copper wire put it into loops and when place above the battery and magnet. Give it a slight push and it should spin because of the reaction

swat32

Answer:

The correct answer is A)

Overtime, the finches on the island adapted as a result of competition for resources.

Explanation:

The finches beaks adapted to the food source which was favored by natural selection. The successful finches that had the most useful beak for their island survived and therefore reproduced.

A gas mixture consists of 60.0% Ar, 30.0% Ne, and 10.0% Kr by volume. If the pressure of this gas mixture is 80.0 kPa, what is t
Nat2105 [25]

Answer: The partial pressure of Argon , Neon and krypton are 48 kPa , 24 kPa and 8 kPa respectively.

Explanation:

According to Raoult's Law , the partial pressure of each component in the solution is equal to the total pressure multiplied by its mole fraction. It is mathematically expressed as

p_A=x_A\times P_{total}

where, p_A = partial pressure of component A

x_A = mole fraction of A

P_{total} = total pressure

mole fraction of Ar = \frac{\text {Moles of Ar}}{\text {total moles}}=\frac{60.0}{60.0+30.0+10.0}=0.6

p_{Ar}=0.60\times 80.0kPa=48kPa

mole fraction of Ne = \frac{\text {Moles of Ne}}{\text {total moles}}=\frac{30.0}{60.0+30.0+10.0}=0.30

p_{Ne}=0.30\times 80.0kPa=24kPa

mole fraction of Kr = \frac{\text {Moles of Kr}}{\text {total moles}}=\frac{10.0}{60.0+30.0+10.0}=0.10

p_{Kr}=0.10\times 80.0kPa=8kPa

Tipo de reacción<br>Mg + O₂&gt;MgO + 1199.66 kJ
koban [17]

Answer:

An exothermic combination reaction

Explanation:

There are two aspects to consider regarding this reaction, as it doesn't only provide the reaction but it also includes the enthalpy change for the reaction.

In terms of this reaction, magnesium atom combines with oxygen molecule to produce one product, magnesium oxide. This may be classified as a combination reaction.

Now, we also see that we released a total of 1199.66 kJ of heat as our product. There are two types of reactions in terms of the enthalpy change: exothermic reactions (those that release heat) and endothermic reactions (those that consume heat).

The enthalpy change for exothermic reactions is negative and it's positive for endothermic reactions.

However, here we're actually given heat as a product. If we have it as a product, this means heat was released into the surrounding by this reaction and we have an exothermic reaction.
