Answer:

I = \dfrac{5 ML^2}{12}

Explanation:

given,

mass of metallic sheet = M

shape of the sheet is square of length L

Moment of inertia When passing through center

                               = \dfrac{ML^2}{6}

now, calculating Moment of inertia from one corner

I = Iₓ + MR²

R is the distance is L/2

I = \dfrac{ML^2}{6} + \dfrac{ML^2}{4}

I = \dfrac{2ML^2 + 3 ML^2}{12}

I = \dfrac{5 ML^2}{12}

Moment of inertia through one corner I = \dfrac{5 ML^2}{12}

CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

What is the volume of a right cylinder with a circumference of 25π in and a height of 41.3 in? Explanation: The formula for the volume of a right cylinder is: V = A * h, where A is the area of the base, or πr2. Therefore, the total formula for the volume of the cylinder is: V = πr2h.

When you throw a ball up in the air, it travels up and then stops instantaneously before falling back down. At the point where i
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

The ball stops instantaneously at the topmost point of the motion.

Explanation:

Assume we have thrown a ball up in the air. For that we have given a force on the ball and it acquires an initial velocity in the upward direction.

The forces that resist the motion of the ball in the upward direction are the force of gravity and air resistance. The ball will instantaneously come to rest when the velocity of the ball reduces to zero.

The two forces acting in the downward direction reduces its speed continuously and it becomes zero at the topmost point.

The wavelength of an electromagnetic waves is __________ also known as the period. the number of waves that pass a given point i
Andreas93 [3]

The sentence can be completed as follows:

The wavelength of an electromagnetic waves is the spatial distance between two successive troughs.

Note that the wavelength of a wave can also measured as the spatial distance between two successive crests of the wave. Also note that the second part of the sentence ("also known as the period") is not true, because period is another thing (in fact, the period is the time interval between two successive troughs).
