Answer:

Gold(II) sulphate is soluble

Explanation:

According to solubility rule, all sulphates are soluble except CaSO_{4},SrSO_{4},BaSO_{4},Hg_{2}SO_{4},HgSO_{4},PbSO_{4} and Ag_{2}SO_{4}

One of the reason for gold sulphate to be a soluble salt is that both gold(II) and sulphate are bigger in size. Therefore their lattice energy is low as lattice energy is inversely proportional to sum of radius of cation and anion.

Hence lattice structure of gold sulphate can be easily disrupted and make constituting ions to get soluble.

Scientists learn about the properties of some particles from the collisions that occur inside a blank
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

Gases consist of very large numbers of tiny spherical particles that are far apart from one another compared to their size. Gas particles are in constant rapid motion in random directions. Collisions between gas particles and between particles and the container walls are elastic collisions.

A log has a density of .8 g/cm³. What will happen to this log in freshwater, which has a density of 1.0 g/cm³?
Inga [223]

Answer:

The log will float on the water because its density is lower than the liquid, so it will stay at the top due to Archimedes' principle.
