Answer:

D = 4 m

Explanation:

Speed of cart in air track v₁ = 0.5 m/s

Speed of cart moved when air is turned off v₂= 1 m/s

The distance travelled by the cart is d₁ = 1 m

Work done (W) = F x d

Work done is equal to the kinetic energy

F x d = 1/2mv²

velocity is directly proportional to distance

therefore,

v₁²/ v₂² = d₁ / d₂

d₂ = d₁v₂² / v₁²

= 1 m x (1 m /s)² / (0.5 m/s)²

= 4 m

The correct options are:
A) 0 K
F) the temperature at which motion is at a minimum

In fact, absolute zero corresponds to zero degrees in the Kelvin scale: 0 K. At this temperature, the motion of the molecules of any substance is minimum (it is zero, to be precise).

(note: there are some weird signs in the answers. if there is a negative sign in front of 273^{\circ}C in option D), then option D is correct as well, because 0 K =-273^{\circ} C).

Here is the answer to the question. Every time when there is a full moon, Mrs. Cook insists that students in her classes display strange behavior and the best way for her to prove the validity of her theory is to research data to find concrete evidence of a link between the moon cycle and human behavior. Hope this helps.

Does everything in a black hole contain a singularity?
Lapatulllka [165]
In the real universe, no black holes contain singularities. In general, singularities are the non-physical mathematical result of a flawed physical theory.
