Answer:

783 grams

Explanation:

Here mass is given in kg

Some of the prefixes of the SI units are

1 gram = 10⁻³ kilogram

1 milligram = 10⁻⁶ kilogram

1 microgram = 10⁻⁹ kilogram

1 nanogram = 10⁻¹² kilogram

The number is 0.783

Here, the only solution where the number of significant figures is three is gram. If any other prefix is chosen then the significant figures will increase

1\ kilogram = 1000\ gram

\\\Rightarrow 0.783\ kilogram=0.783\times 1000\ gram\\ =783\ gram

So, 0.783 kg = 783 grams

The graph below shows the energy sources used to generate electricity in the United States.
DedPeter [7]

The correct answer is - D. 1 percent.

The United States are the biggest consumer of electricity in the world. Because of that the United States are using multiple different sources in order to satisfy the demand for the electricity. The solar energy though accounts for only 1% of the total amount of produced electricity in the country and that is concerning. The biggest concern of course is the environmental one as the majority of the electricity is produced by sources that are polluting the environment. The other concern is that the United States are not using their potential in gaining more electricity from the solar radiation when taken in account that they have very large areas in the country that have a lot of intense solar radiation and clear skies throughout most of the year.

Identify the law, write the equation and calculate the answer to the problem below.
lyudmila [28]

Find refractive index first

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \mu=\dfrac{c}{v}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \mu=\dfrac{1.0003}{1.33}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \mu =0.75

Now

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{sini}{sinr}=\mu

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{sin45}{sinr}=0.75

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{sin45}{0.75}=sinr

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow sinr=0.94

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow r=sin^{-1}(0.94)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow r=70^{\circ}

the maximum range of a projectile is 2÷√3 times its actual range what is the angle of the projection for the actual range
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

The actual angle is 30°

Explanation:

<h2>Equation of projectile:</h2><h2>y axis:</h2>

v_y(t)=vo*sin(A)-g*t

the velocity is Zero when the projectile reach in the maximum altitude:

0=vo-gt\\t=\frac{vo}{g}

When the time is vo/g the projectile are in the middle of the range.

<h2>x axis:</h2>

d_x(t)=vo*cos(A)*t\\

R=Range

R=d_x(t=2*\frac{vo}{g})

R=vo*cos(A)*2\frac{vo}{g} \\\\R=\frac{(vo)^{2}*2* sin(A)cos(A)}{g} \\\\R=\frac{(vo)^{2} sin(2A)}{g}

**sin(2A)=2sin(A)cos(A)

<h2>The maximum range occurs when A=45°(because sin(90°)=1)</h2><h2>The actual range R'=(2/√3)R:</h2>

Let B the actual angle of projectile

\frac{vo^{2} }{g} =(\frac{2}{\sqrt{3} }) \frac{vo^{2} *sin(2B)}{g}\\\\1= \frac{2 }{\sqrt{3}} *sin(2B)\\\\sin(2B)=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\\\\

2B=60°

B=30°

The mass of a truck with its cargo is 1800 kg. The truck is coasting to the right with a speed of 10 m/s. As it coasts its cargo
OverLord2011 [107]

Here we apply conservation of linear momentum. The momentum of the truck with cargo and without cargo remains constant. That is,

mv=m'v'.

Here m,v are initial mass and velocity. m',v' are final mass and velocity. Here m=1800,v=10 and m'=1800-300=1500.

The velocity of the truck be after its cargo is taken off is

v'=\frac{mv}{m'} \\  v'=\frac{1800*10}{1500} \\  v'=12 m/s
