Answer:

The First table is going by 6 on the top, the bottom is going by 1.5.

  6          12          18          24

1.5          3          4.5           6

The Second table is going by multiplying by 2 on the top, the bottom is doing the same thing(from least to greatest).

112.8          56.4          28.2          14.1

5,640      2,820         1,140          570

The cost per pound of apples on sale is $1.50.

3÷2= 1.50

You can buy 12 pounds of apples for $18.00.

18.00÷1.5= 12

Since 1 pound=16 ounces, so there are about 3 apples in each pound.

16÷5= 3.2

You can buy approximately 36 apples with $18.00.

12×3= 36

IgorLugansk [536]

The both started at 11.00 a.m then they will meet at 11:15 a.m

We have given that

Two turtles, which are 750 meters apart and the are moving towards each other

average speed of 1 km/h, and the other travels 1 km/h faster

Therefore we have to find When will the turtles meet.

First turtle travels at an average speed of 1 km/h.

Thus; v₁ = 1 km/h

Second turtle travels at an average speed of 1 km/hr faster than the first.

Thus; v₂ = 2 km/h

Since second turtle is moving 2 times faster than the first one, it means the second turtle will cover 2/3 of the total distance while the first will cover 1/3 of the total distance at the point they will meet.

What is the value of 1 kilometre in meter

1 km=1000 meter

So,

Distance covered by turtle 2

= 2/3 * 0.750 = 0.5 km

Time = distance/speed

Time = 0.5/2

Time= 0.25 hours \\\\ Time= 15 minutes

Since they both started at 11.00 a.m then they will meet at 11:15 a.m
