plug the first simplified equation into the second one,
-y²=5/4...This does not have a solution, are you sure you typed the second equation correctly?
1/5=0.2. 2/6=0.3. 2/6 is greater. Or 1/5 is less than.
Well using distance formula
The answer I got was Distance = 45.9 what ever unit of measure it might ask for. Feel free to check my math just in case.
The sales tax would be $1.36 so the total cost would be $35.36
Write an out an equation using the information given. So:
8 + 5 + x - 2 = 14.5
