A British newspaper was interested in whether groups of people who differed in social standing were treated differently when the

y complained to organizations about poor service they had received. The paper selected eight people of different social status, including a student, a priest, a person with a disability, and an unemployed person and asked them to write letters of complaint to six different companies. They then monitored the replies that each person received and concluded that since the replies received by the priest were more favorable than those of the student, the person with the disability, or the unemployed person that social standing does matter when responding to poor service. What is wrong?

Answer:

That there should be no distinction between a person of certain social standing than another form a different one. They all should be treated the same.

Explanation:

Unfortunately, this experiment showed the reality of today´s society: that eventhough racism, social distiction, bullying, is seen as wrong, it is still happening.

Social standing is very important in the bussiness world and service facilities. People still treat better some community or type of person because they think they are "better" for having something or its believes, it´s in their culture.

In this example, the priest had better service because society thinks that people church-related are better because of their values, type of life, etc.

However, the type of life some people have won´t have to matter when a service is provided. All arethe same.

What os the term for the smallest bit into which chemical substance can be divided and still have the properties of that substan
Ostrovityanka [42]

That's a molecule of the substance.  You can break the molecule down further, into the atoms that make it up, but those don't have the properties of the original  'compound'.

Here's an example:

-- Sodium is a soft, slippery metal, that explodes when water touches it.

-- Chlorine is a poisonous green gas.

When an atom of Sodium and an atom of Chlorine combine, they make one molecule of a substance called "Sodium Chloride".  That's SALT !  It isn't green, it isn't a gas, it isn't poisonous, it isn't soft and slippery, and it doesn't explode when water touches it.

If you guys know this answers please help me.
MrRissso [65]

Even though humans share 100% of the same genes, the instructions contained within the genes are not entirely identical. Each person is unique. People have different hair colors, facial structures, and other traits. These differences between individuals result from very small differences in their DNA sequences. DNA also contains many so-called "housekeeping genes" that control important metabolic processes. As you will see, some of the differences in these genes can cause illness.

Although the DNA of any two people on Earth is, in fact, 99.9% identical, even a tiny difference can have a big effect if this difference is located in a critical gene.
