Answer:

5.0\cdot 10^{-6}C

Explanation:

The magnitude of the electrostatic force between two charged objects is given by Coulomb's law:

F=k\frac{q_1 q_2}{r^2}

where:

k=8.99\cdot 10^9 Nm^{-2}C^{-2} is the Coulomb's constant

q_1, q_2 are the two charges  on the two objects

r is the separation between the two charges

The force is:

- Repulsive if the two charges have same sign

- Attractive if the two charges have opposite sign

In this problem:

F = 2.5 N is the force between the two balloons

r = 0.30 m is their separation

q_1=q_2=q is the charge on each balloon (they have the same charge)

So, re-arranging the equation, we can find the value of q:

F=\frac{kq^2}{r^2}\\q=\sqrt{\frac{Fr^2}{k}}=\sqrt{\frac{(2.5)(0.30)^2}{8.99\cdot 10^9}}=5.0\cdot 10^{-6}C

We are also told that the force between them is repulsive: this means that the charges on the two balloons have  same sign (so, either they are both positive, or both negative).

You rapidly swirl a mixture of substances with different densities
borishaifa [10]
Having different densities being swirled rapidly will cause sedimentation. Sedimentation is the segmentation of the mixture creating layers of particles of these different densities. The process of rapid swirling is called differential centrifugation. An example use of this method is separation human blood into, red, platelet and white blood cells.

The LR5 is the specialist submarine for underwater rescue. The average density of seawater is 1028 kg/ m3.
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer:

P = 7196 [kPa]

Explanation:

We can solve this problem using the expression that defines the pressure depending on the height of water column.

P = dens*g*h

where:

dens = 1028 [kg/m^3]

g = 10 [m/s^2]

h = 700 [m]

Therefore:

P = 1028*10*700

P = 7196000 [Pa]

P = 7196 [kPa]

A beam of light has a wavelength of 4.5 x10^-7 meter in a vacuum. the frequency of this light is
valkas [14]
The basic relationship between frequency and wavelength for light (which is an electromagnetic wave) is
c= f \lambda
where c is the speed of light, f the frequency and \lambda the wavelength of the wave.
Using \lambda=4.5 \cdot 10^{-7} m and c=3 \cdot 10^8 m/s, we can find the value of the frequency:
f= \frac{c}{\lambda}= \frac{3 \cdot 10^8 m/s}{4.5 \cdot 10^{-7} m}=6.7 \cdot 10^{14} Hz

Marshmallow: Force Applied

Explanation:

This is the forces that act on a stationary object and a launched object. The catapult may also experience a force friction if your teacher is taking a more practical sense.
