Power denotes the amount of energy consumed in a second. Assuming these bulbs are used for the same time period, a 100W bulb consumes 100 joules per second and a 50W bulb consumes 50 joules per second. So, a 100W bulb will use more power.

Watts are the units for power. If a light bulb requires 100 Watts, then that light bulb requires more power than a 50 Watt light bulb.

What is the magnite of the net displacement of the mouse?
agasfer [191]

Complete Question

A field mouse trying to escape a hawk runs east for 5.0m, darts southeast for 3.0m, then drops 1.0m down a hole into its burrow. What is the magnitude of the net displacement of the mouse?

Answer:

The  values is  s =  7.49 \  m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The  distance it travels eastward is  x =  5.0 \ m

   The distance it travel towards the southeast  is l = 3.0\ m

   The distance it travel towards the south is  z = 1 \ m

Let x-axis  be east

      y-axis  south

       z-axis into the ground

The angle made between east and south is  \theta = 45^o

The displacement toward x-axis is

       x =  5 +  3cos(45)

       x =  7.12

 The  displacement toward the y-axis is

     y  =  3 *  sin (45)

      y =  2.123

Now the overall displacement of the rat is mathematically evaluated as

        s =  \sqrt{7.12^2 +  2.12^2 +  1^2}

      s =  7.49 \  m

The velocity of an object is the _____ of the object
katovenus [111]
D. Speed and direction, this is because velocity is a vector quantity so has a magnitude and direction assigned to it because it is the rate of change of displacement.

How much force is required to pull a spring 3.0 cm from
avanturin [10]

Answer:

I know that T= kx where T is the tension which equaka the force og gravity = mg = 1.37 * 10 = 13.7 x is the elongation of the spring so the length after dangling the object minus the original length.

I hope it helps

When we kept the Earth's mass the same, but shrank its size, we saw that had an effect on its escape speed. Albert Einstein used
nadezda [96]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Explanation:

The escape velocity is the velocity needed by any object to overcome the gravitational force of the planet on which it’s present. Now we know that the gravitational force is directly proportional to the mass of the planet and inversely proportional to the distance of the object from the center of planet.

If we keep the mass of earth constant and decrease the size of the earth than this will decrease the distance between the object and the center of the earth and thus the gravitational force that will act on the body will increase substantially which will in turn increase the value of the escape velocity.

The value of escape velocity will keep on increasing as the size of the earth will shrink till it reaches to a point when the value of escape velocity becomes more than the speed of light and since it’s impossible to travel with a speed greater than the speed of light and therefore at this point it will become impossible for a spacecraft to escape the earth.

If you are asked to modify the robots or drones that are currently used , what kind of modifications you would do and suggest an
Eddi Din [679]

Explanation:

In recent times of pandemic, robots can be use as replacement of labor in the industries. Mundane tasks can be programmed in their system so that they can used readily.

Drones can used delivery for essential goods and services, so that human interference can be least and the spread of virus can be curbed.

In a recent example, Argentina where aerial data has reportedly been used to accelerate the construction of emergency hospitals.
