Before answering this question it is necessary to know the conversion factors for temperatures.

273 k = 0 ° C

To transform a temperature from Kelvin to ° C we use the following Formula

T ° C = T Kelvin - 273

For 373 K

373K -273 = 100 ° C

373 Kelvin equals 100° C.

To transform a temperature from ° C to ° F we use the following formula:

(T° C x 9/5) + 32 = T ° F

Then:

For 0 ° C

(0° C x 9/5) +32 = 32 ° F

0° C equals 32 ° F.

For 100° C

(100 ° C x 9/5) +32 = 212 F

100 ° C equals 212 ° F.

Therefore, the correct option is the first:

373 Kelvin = 100 ° C = 212 ° F

The density of an object is .835 g/cm3. If its volume is 34 cm3, what is the mass of the object?
zaharov [31]

D = m/v

Given:

D: .835 g/cm3

V: 34 cm3

M: ?

M= Dxv

M= .835 g/cm3 x 34 cm3

M= 28.39 g

can you help me create a sketch of two different objects with one that has a greater density than the other?
sergey [27]

I don't know how good you are at sketching ... I'm terrible.
But you can put the point across in a dramatic way if you
can sketch a bowling ball and a basketball ... you'll need
to clearly identify them with the markings you sketch on
each ball.

They're the same shape and nearly the same size, but
there's a huge difference in their densities.

A grating has 460 rulings/mm. What is the longest wavelength for which there is a 6.0th-order diffraction line
mestny [16]

Answer:

λ = 3.62 x 10⁻⁷ m = 362 nm

Explanation:

The grating equation gives the relationship between the wavelength, the diffraction line order and the diffraction angle. The grating equation is written as follows:

mλ = d Sinθ

where,

m = order of diffraction = 6

λ = longest wavelength = ?

d = 1/(460 rulings/mm)(1000 mm /1 m) = 2.17 x 10⁻⁶ m/ruling

θ = Diffraction angle = 90° (for longest wavelength)

(6)λ = (2.17 x 10⁻⁶ m/ruling) Sin 90°

λ = (2.17 x 10⁻⁶ m/rulings)/6

λ = 3.62 x 10⁻⁷ m = 362 nm
