Before answering this question it is necessary to know the conversion factors for temperatures.

273 k = 0 ° C

To transform a temperature from Kelvin to ° C we use the following Formula

T ° C = T Kelvin - 273

For 373 K

373K -273 = 100 ° C

373 Kelvin equals 100° C.

To transform a temperature from ° C to ° F we use the following formula:

(T° C x 9/5) + 32 = T ° F

Then:

For 0 ° C

(0° C x 9/5) +32 = 32 ° F

0° C equals 32 ° F.

For 100° C

(100 ° C x 9/5) +32 = 212 F

100 ° C equals 212 ° F.

Therefore, the correct option is the first:

373 Kelvin = 100 ° C = 212 ° F

A charge moves from point A to point B in an electric field. What is true in general about the energy of the charge?
Elis [28]

Since there is no frictional loss or any other type of resistive loss in this motion of charge from one position of electric field to other position. So here we can say that total mechanical energy of the charge system will remain conserved always

So here we can say that mechanical energy is sum of kinetic energy and electrostatic potential energy which will remains conserved always

So here correct answer will be

A). The sum of the potential energy and the kinetic energy at A is the same as that at B.

Objects of equal mass are oscillating up and down in simple harmonic motion on two different vertical springs. The spring consta
Zanzabum

Answer:

k_2=920\ N/m

Explanation:

Given that,

The spring constant of spring 1, k_1=230\ N/m

The motion of the object on spring 1 has twice the amplitude as the motion of the object on spring 2, A_1=2A_2

As the magnitude of the maximum velocity is the same in each case, it means the maximum kinetic energy is same in each case. In other words, the total energy is same.

\dfrac{1}{2}k_1A_1^2=\dfrac{1}{2}k_2A_2^2

k_1A_1^2=k_2A_2^2

k_1(2A_2)^2=k_2A_2^2

k_2=920\ N/m

So, the spring constant of spring 2 is 920 N/m. Hence, this is the required solution.

It is incorrect to say the temperature of an object is 23k why
riadik2000 [5.3K]
It is incorrect because 23 k is 23 kelvins and not 23 degrees kelvin.
