Answer: Option (B) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

As it is given that the melting temperature of substance is 1200 degree Celsius and its density is 16.7 g/cm^{3}.

Since, the temperature is very high and no solution or molecule exists at such a high temperature.

Whereas a compound is defined as the substance which contains two or more different elements which chemically combine together in a fixed ratio by mass.

Compounds in the form of alloys have high melting temperature.

Thus, we can conclude that the given unknown substance is most likely a compound.

Bowen’s reaction series illustrates relations between:
Finger [1]

C. Temperature, chemical composition and mineral structure

Explanation:

The Bowen's reaction series illustrates the relationship between temperature, chemical composition and mineral structure.

The series is made up of a continuous and discontinuous end through which magmatic composition can be understood as temperature changes.

  • The left part is the discontinuous end while the right side is the continuous series.
  • From the series, we understand that a magmatic body becomes felsic as it begins to cool to lower temperature.
  • A magma at high temperature is ultramafic and very rich in ferro-magnesian silicates which are the chief mineral composition of olivine and pyroxene. These minerals are predominantly found in mafic- ultramafic rocks. Also, we expect to find the calcic-plagioclase at high temperatures partitioned in the magma.
  • At a relatively low temperature, minerals with frame work structures begins to form . The magma is more enriched with felsic minerals and late stage crystallization occurs here.

Any push or pull on an object is Question 5 options: Acceleration Velocity Force Inertia
Kobotan [32]
This would be force. Acceleration is increasing the speed in an object and velocity is how fast an object is going. Also, inertia basically says that an object will stay at rest or in motion unless an outside force acts on it. So, for example, a ball will stay in the air unless gravity acts on it and pulls it down. By definition, force is any action, unopposed (or by itself without any other forces that would do the opposite) will change the motion of an object, so this definitely makes the most sense for the question. Hope this helps!

A subducting oceanic plate

Maybe this would help understand it better.
